Switcheroo's and New Paint

George and I decided that when baby boy comes there wouldn't be enough room for him to share Oscars room. So the other day we did a switch. We moved the guest room into Oscar's room and vice versa. Oscar also decided he was to BIG for the crib and is now sleeping like a big boy in a big boy bed!!! He has done great....in fact I think almost better than when he was in the crib! We still have painting to do in the guest room but its good for now.
Then I was bored yesterday and asked George about painting the den. We have had a paint sample up next the door for a LONG time!!! Ummmm almost two years now:-) He gave the go ahead and I started painting. I LOVE the end result! Now all we have left to do is get some new flooring in there.....a nice mahaghony floor would look awesome!
The kids and I are headed out home tomorrow for a week and then on to Molly and Ben's wedding! Til next time!

First Ohio Wedding

It was Darren and Rebecca's wedding this past weekend. What a beautiful weekend they had for it. Temperatures were in the high 70's and the sun was shining. Nancy, the kids and I left on Thursday and arrived at my parents house for a quick over night stay. We headed out at about 8:30 the next morning and arrived in Findlay Ohio at about 2:45 or so. Madeline was one of the flower girls so we headed over to the rehersal at 4. Had fun watching her walk up and down the aisle with Dana Watkins, that was so special! Pizza afterwards and then we headed back to the hotel for an early night. We did some swimming, but the kids weren't too fond of the water. We drifted in and out of sleep waiting for George to arrive with Jason and Christina. They got there around 11:45 or so.

The wedding was at 1:30 the next day so we had some time in the morning to do some more swimming. The kids got a little more used to it and by the time it was time to get out Oscar was crying he didn't want to go. Off to the wedding and Madeline couldn't wait to get her flower girls dress on. It was absoluetly beautiful and she was a little cutie if I can say so myself. She did great and by the end of the pictures she had had it.

3:30 was the reception at The Lighthouse, delicious dinner there and then we headed out after the bride and groom left and began our trek all over again to Freedom. After a Sunday morning meeting at Grandma and Grandpa McKerrow's we all met at Applebee's in Geneseo and headed the rest of the way home. Now we get to do it all over again in a few weeks for Molly and Ben's wedding. Til then! For lots more pictures from the wedding, head on over to the side and click on our picasa web album!

Alpine Slides

A bunch of us headed over to Jimminy Peak on Sat. Madeline and I went with Mike, Julie, Emma and Heidi and met a bunch of the friends over there. Nancy watched Oscar for us. We get there and Madeline couldn't wait to go down the slides with Unkie...her first ride down and she LOVED it! So needless to say she went as many times as she could! Thanks so much Unkie for taking her. The ladies sat patiently waiting for them to come down the mountain, estimated time from the time they got on the chair lift, til we could see them come down was 1/2 hour! Got lots of chatting in:-) There are four of us girls all pregnant, so needless to say we didn't brave the slides. Rebecca and Heidi did though! We had a great time and then closed the day with a great meal at Cracker Barrel with the crew! Til Next Time:)
