Tis the season

for snow, gingerbread men, and christmas cookies. And we have all three right now! The other night Madeline and I made gingerbread men and were also gonna make the christmas cookies too but there were reports of a winter storm coming in so we held off til the next day. Good thing we waited cause we got it and it gave us something to do! Madeline loved putting the sprinkles on ALL of the cookies. Mommy got to frost them but she put the decorations on! And we had no distractions from Oscar cause grandma took him shopping with her:-) We're looking forward to grandma and papa coming next week for christmas! Til next time!

My silly kids

Big and small:-) Here is a pic of daddy getting ready to go hunting. Wanted to be sure no one would mistake him as a deer:-) Then my little guy.....don't mind the runny nose, all the kids have colds! And then the two of them with their "new" strollers from Joan Lockhart:-)

Thanksgiving 2008

Was at Nancy and Donnie's this year. Had a crowd of 29. Fun times being with the family and lots of good food. Yankee swap theme this year was handmade or homeade. George's wooden bowl was the winner of most times being swapped. Sarah ended up with it, she chose it in the beginning:-) Til next time!

Home again home again

We're back home to stay for a long while:-) Had a great time at mom and dad's as usual. We pretty much stayed home. Mom is getting their den ready for paint so we peeled and peeled wall paper. Sat. dad and I went out hunting and all we got was soaked!!! It was pouring rain the whole day! Not your ideal day of hunting! I was planning on going out Monday morning but we woke up to 14 in. of snow and mom and dad didn't think it was wise for me to be tramping through the woods 7 months preg. so I guess no deer for us this year:-) Nothing much to report this time so til next time!

Wedding #2 in Ohio

Mr. and Mrs. Ben Watkins
Madeline was their flower girl, she's getting to be a pro now. It still takes a bit of bribing for her to smile nicely for the pictures but she walks down the aisle great:-) It was an absolutely beautiful day and beautiful setting for it all to take place! Lots of fun to be with all the family and friends!!

Freedom Fun

We were out in Freedom again for a week. I had a scentsy party and then from there we headed on to Ohio. Madeline and I carved pumpkins while grandma was gone to her painting class for the morning. It turned out to be Madeline put her hand in the first pumpkin and decided it was to icky! So mom carved them all out by herself:-) It was lots of fun though. Here's a few pics from our time there!
